The Evolution of the Belts
Going Global
The League of Fire Belts have grown alongside the sport itself. What started as a single World Title has evolved into a global system of competition, reflecting the rise of new regions, new competitors, and a rapidly expanding community. Each belt represents a moment in that journey, not just who won, but how far the sport has come.
Regional Title Belts
Following the immense success of our World Title Belt (The Bird) in 2019, we introduced three Regional Title Belts in 2021:
The Americas Title Belt (Red Bird)
The European Title Belt (Blue Bird)
The Oceania Title Belt (Green Bird)
A New Era of Belts
To celebrate five years of League of Fire in 2024, we introduced a brand new World Title Belt. Four times heavier and significantly larger than its predecessor. This monumental redesign symbolises our incredible growth over the past five years.
Intercontinental Belt
In 2024, we introduced the first-ever Intercontinental Title Belt, known as the Silver Bird, allowing multi-regional participation at a global scale. The inaugural Intercontinental Title Match was hosted in Italy, marking yet another milestone in LOF history.
The Next Generation
In 2025, after four years of Regional Championships, we retired our original Regional Title Belts. In their place, we are introducing larger and heavier belts. These new Regional Title Belts will be equal in size to and the same design as our original World Title Belt to symbolise their significance.
Key Changes
The Oceania Title Belt (Green Bird) was retired and replaced with the All Black Bird, paying homage to the strength and spirit of the region. Each new Regional Title Belt will have the details of the festival where it was first launched inscribed, immortalising its debut event.
Africa Belt
One dream remained unfulfilled, bringing the League of Fire Belt Matches to Africa. After four years , this dream is finally became a reality! On 29 March 2025, we launched the Africa Title Belt (Green & Gold Bird) at the Festival of Fire in Cape Town, South Africa.
What it represents
More than Metal
There is a moment, just after a League of Fire belt match ends, that we never get tired of witnessing. The competition is over. The crowd reacts. And somewhere in that moment, something shifts. The winner is no longer just a competitor, they are now the face of a sport that many people have given their time, their passion, and their resources to build. Every organiser who built a stage. Every producer who supplied products. Every fan who watched and cared deeply about the outcome. A League of Fire belt carries all of them in that moment.
